2. Free positioning snapshots

If you request a free positioning snapshot:

• It is based on publicly available information only. We have not interviewed your customers or seen your internal data.
• It reflects our opinion and suggested tests, not conclusions or guarantees.
• It is not legal advice, including on advertising or consumer-protection rules.
• There is no cost and no obligation to buy anything.
• We may decline a request at our discretion.

3. No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee any specific outcome, including search rankings, leads, sales, revenue, return on ad spend, or platform approval. Results depend on many factors outside our control.

4. Client engagements

Paid work is governed by a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement applies.

5. Intellectual property

The Site's content, design, methods, and materials belong to Areal or its licensors. You may view and share pages for personal or internal business use, with attribution. You may not copy, republish, or sell them without our written permission.

Names and trademarks of other companies on the Site belong to their owners and are used for identification only.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, or scraping it in bulk.

7. Third-party links and tools

The Site may link to or use third-party services (for example, our Google Calendar booking page). We are not responsible for their content or practices; their own terms apply.

8. Disclaimer

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about its accuracy, completeness, or availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Areal is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or a free snapshot. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to the lesser of the amount you paid us to use the Site or CA$100.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
